Short version. We don't run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site trackers. Almost everything we put in your browser is there to make the product work: keep you signed in, remember your theme, and hold the trading data you load into the app on your own device. Our website analytics are cookieless. If you clear your browser storage, anything in the app that isn't cloud-synced is gone — read section 9 before you hit "clear site data".
This notice explains what we store in your browser, why, and for how long. It covers nikaquant.com, app.nikaquant.com, store.nikaquant.com and coin.nikaquant.com. Read it with our Privacy Policy (nikaquant.com/privacy/), which explains how we handle personal data generally.

The law (the EU ePrivacy Directive, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations ("PECR"), and similar rules) treats all of these the same way: storing or reading information on your device. So this notice covers all of them, not just cookies. In this notice we call them all "storage".
We do not use advertising, retargeting, social-media pixel or cross-site tracking storage on any of the four sites.

Pages on this site also load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the font file. We do not ask Google to set cookies for this. The methodology page loads cookieless Plausible analytics and some script libraries from unpkg.com; neither stores anything on your device for us.
The app is built to work on your device. When you upload an MT5 Strategy Tester report, optimisation XML, CSV or account history, the file is parsed in your browser and the results are kept in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. That is why the app uses much more storage than a normal website: it is where your data lives when you are not signed in. When you are signed in, on any plan, we also keep a copy of your uploaded trade rows, run summaries, journal entries and preferences in our database; on Pro and Premium, workspace Cloud Save stores whole workspaces too. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what is stored.

The referral code is stored only when you arrive through a referral link. It is not shared with advertising networks and is not used to follow you across other websites. If you don't want it stored, open the app without the ?ref= part of the link, or clear the keys above.

Both sites also load fonts from Google Fonts, as described in section 4. The coin page fetches live price data from public market-data services in your browser; those requests share your IP address with those services but we do not ask them to store anything on your device.
We measure website use with privacy-preserving tools that do not use cookies or any other storage on your device:
Because these tools don't store or read anything on your device, they don't need a cookie consent under ePrivacy/PECR. They still process limited technical data (like your IP address, used transiently and not stored by us). Our Privacy Policy explains the legal basis for that.
The law requires consent before storing or reading information on your device, unless the storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, or is used only to carry a communication. Signing you in, keeping the data you loaded into the app, completing a payment you started, and protecting the service from bots are strictly necessary. A theme choice you make yourself is stored only because you asked for it.
We have no advertising or tracking storage to ask permission for, so on nikaquant.com, the store and the coin page we don't show a consent banner. The app shows a short cookie notice and remembers your answer in nq_cookie_consent; since the app uses no advertising or third-party analytics storage, either answer leaves the app working the same way. If we ever add storage that needs your consent, we will ask first and will not set it until you agree, and you'll be able to change your mind as easily as you gave it.
Read this before clearing anything for app.nikaquant.com. The app keeps your uploaded reports, analysis results, journal entries, screenshots, playbooks and settings in your browser. If you clear site data for app.nikaquant.com, or use a private/incognito window, or your browser deletes site data automatically (some browsers do this for sites you haven't visited in a while, or when the device is low on space):
Export what matters first (use the app's export options, such as PDF export, and keep your original MT5 files). Clearing storage on nikaquant.com, the store or the coin page only resets your theme.
You can also block cookies or storage for any site in the same settings. If you block storage for app.nikaquant.com, the app cannot sign you in or keep your data, so it won't work properly. Blocking third-party cookies does not affect our own sites; it may affect the embedded DexScreener chart and how Stripe pages behave.
Browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals: we don't use storage that tracks you across sites or sells your data, so there is nothing further for these signals to switch off.
Some storage above contains personal data, for example your sign-in session, your email in nq_license_email or nq_captured_email, and the trading data you load into the app. Data that stays only in your browser is under your control: you can view and delete it at any time as described above. For data we hold on our servers (such as your account or Cloud sync data), you have the rights described in our Privacy Policy (nikaquant.com/privacy/), including access, correction, deletion and objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority. We update this notice when we add, remove or change storage. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. If a change means we need your consent (for example, a new non-essential cookie), we will ask before setting it.
