Acceptable Use Policy
URL: https://nikaquant.com/acceptable-use/ · Last updated: 4 October 2026 · Effective date: 4 October 2026
The short version: grade your own strategies, share your real numbers, and don't use NikaQuant to fake results, run scams, hurt people or break the thing. If you wouldn't want it screenshotted next to your name, don't put it on a leaderboard.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") is part of our Terms of Service (nikaquant.com/terms/) ("Terms"). It is operated by [Legal entity name] ("NikaQuant", "we", "us"). By using any part of the Service you agree to follow it. If this Policy and the Terms conflict on a point of acceptable use, this Policy wins on that point. Words with a capital letter that aren't defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. Who and what this covers
1.1 This Policy applies to everyone who uses the Service — account holders on any plan (Free, Pro, Premium or trial), people who open a share link or public card without an account, buyers on our store, and anyone who contacts or tests our systems.
1.2 "Service" in this Policy means all of the following, as they exist from time to time:
- The app at app.nikaquant.com and its module front doors (tracker, journal and arena subdomains), including Verdict, Journal, Tracker, Prop-Firm Simulator, Trading Wrapped, PDF export and Cloud sync.
- This marketing site at nikaquant.com.
- The store at store.nikaquant.com and the indicators, EAs and bots sold there. The Store license (store.nikaquant.com/license/) and Store terms of sale (store.nikaquant.com/terms/) also apply to those products.
- Share links, public cards and share images — anything the app lets you publish so other people can see it, such as report links, your public trading card, badge codes and exported images.
- The Arena and leaderboards — any community ranking or challenge where you submit a strategy name and metrics.
- The Bridge EA (also called the Exporter EA) — the MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor that exports your trade history to files on your computer for the app to read, and any endpoint a future version may use.
- APIs, webhooks and Workers — any programmatic interface we run or document, whether public, undocumented or internal.
- Nika AI — the AI features included on Premium. Nika AI is not live yet. The AI rules in section 2.10 apply from the day it goes live.
1.3 The coin page at coin.nikaquant.com is an information page about the $NIKAQUANT token. It is not part of any plan. Sections 2.1 to 2.5 (illegal activity, fraud, manipulation, impersonation) still apply to anything you do using our name or that page. See the Token disclaimer (coin.nikaquant.com/disclaimer/).
1.4 You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by anyone you let use it, and for anything your scripts, bots or EAs do against the Service.
2. What you can't do
You must not use the Service, or help or encourage anyone else to use it, to do any of the following.
2.1 Illegal activity
- Break any law or regulation that applies to you or to us, including financial-services, consumer-protection, data-protection, anti-money-laundering and anti-spam laws.
- Offer regulated services (for example investment advice, portfolio management or signal services that need a licence where you are) using the Service without the licences you need. NikaQuant is not a broker, investment adviser or regulated financial firm, and you can't present your use of NikaQuant as if it were.
- Process other people's personal data through the Service without a lawful basis — for example uploading a client's account history without their permission.
2.2 Fraud and deception
- Use the Service to defraud anyone, including us, other users, brokers, prop firms or payment providers.
- Use stolen, borrowed or fake payment details, or file chargebacks in bad faith for charges you authorised and used.
- Run phishing, fake giveaways, "recover your losses" schemes or anything that tricks people into handing over money, logins, one-time codes or trading-account details.
2.3 Market manipulation, pump-and-dumps and signal scams
- Use NikaQuant outputs, share links, public cards, the Arena or our name to promote pump-and-dump schemes, coordinated trading to move a price, wash trading, spoofing, or any other form of market manipulation — in any market, including crypto tokens and our own
$NIKAQUANT token.
- Use a Score, Grade, Verdict, leaderboard position or share link to sell a signal group, copy-trading service, managed account, EA or course on the back of results that are false, cherry-picked or misleading.
- Promise or imply guaranteed returns, or present a NikaQuant grade as a forecast of future profit. Backtests and past results don't predict future results — see our Risk disclosure (nikaquant.com/risk-disclosure/).
2.4 Faking or misrepresenting performance
Share links, public cards and the Arena only mean something if the numbers are real. You must not:
- Upload a Strategy Tester report, optimization XML, CSV or account history that you created, edited or stitched together to show results that didn't happen, and then publish it, submit it to the Arena or a leaderboard, or use it in a share link or public card.
- Edit, crop, re-colour or otherwise alter a share image, PDF export or screenshot so that it shows a different Score, Grade, Verdict or metric from the one the app produced.
- Present a backtest as live trading, a demo account as a funded or live account, or a hand-picked slice as your full record.
- Claim a result is "verified", "audited" or "certified" by NikaQuant unless the app itself labels it that way. Today the app cannot check badge codes, so a badge code is not verification. Copying, forging or reusing someone else's badge code, card or report link as your own is not allowed.
- Game rankings — for example by submitting the same strategy many times under different names, using multiple accounts to push entries up, or submitting a strategy you know is overfit to top a leaderboard.
Uploading your own honest results — good or ugly — is exactly what the Service is for. This section is about faking, not about losing.
2.5 Impersonation
- Pretend to be NikaQuant, a NikaQuant team member, or someone acting for us — including in Discord, Telegram, X or email, and including fake "support" or "admin" accounts or fake "NikaQuant-approved" signals.
- Pretend to be another trader, prop firm, broker, EA vendor or public figure, or use a strategy name, profile or bio designed to make people think you are them.
- Use our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you, your product or your results.
We will never ask you for your one-time sign-in code, your broker password or your card number by message. If someone does, it isn't us.
2.6 Harassment, hate and harmful content in names and notes
Some things you type can be seen by others — strategy names, Arena and leaderboard entries, profile bios, playbook or challenge text, and anything in a share link or public card. In anything others can see, you must not post content that:
- Harasses, threatens, bullies or doxxes anyone, or reveals someone's personal data without permission.
- Attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics.
- Is sexually explicit, depicts or promotes violence or self-harm, or involves minors in any harmful way.
- Is spam, contains links to scams or malware, or advertises things unrelated to your strategy.
Private notes in your own Journal are yours, but they must not be used to store or distribute illegal content.
2.7 Malware and malicious files
- Upload, or cause the Service to process, any file built to attack, crash or exploit it or its users — for example crafted XML (XML external entity or "billion laughs" tricks), CSV or spreadsheet formula injection, oversized or deeply nested files, zip bombs, or files carrying scripts, viruses or other malicious code.
- Embed malicious content in a share link, public card, strategy name or note so that it runs in someone else's browser (for example script injection).
- Distribute through the Service any EA, indicator, script or file that contains malicious code, hidden trade execution, credential harvesting or undisclosed remote control.
- Modify the Bridge EA or impersonate it to send data the Bridge EA would not send, or to send data about an account that isn't yours or that you aren't authorised to report on.
Analysis largely runs in your own browser, so a malicious file mostly hurts you — but anything you publish or sync reaches our servers and other people, and that is where this rule bites.
2.8 Security probing without permission
You must not, without our prior written permission:
- Scan, probe, penetration-test or vulnerability-test the Service, our Workers, APIs, the Bridge EA endpoints, the store or our email and DNS infrastructure.
- Access or try to access data, accounts or systems you aren't authorised to, including other users' share links you weren't sent, cloud-synced data, or admin functions.
- Get around authentication, one-time-code limits, rate limits or any other security control, or interfere with another user's sign-in.
- Run denial-of-service attacks or anything else that disrupts the Service for others.
Found a bug by accident while using the Service normally? Good — tell us. See section 4 (Reporting security issues).
2.9 Scraping and automated bulk access
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download data from the Service — including leaderboards, Arena entries, public cards, share links and store listings — by bot, script or any automated means, except through an API we document for that purpose and within its limits. Normal search-engine indexing of our public marketing pages, in line with our robots.txt, is fine.
- Use data taken from the Service to build a competing product, train a machine-learning model, or compile a database of traders or strategies.
- Create accounts by automated means or use automation to submit files, requests or sign-in codes at volumes a person couldn't produce by hand.
2.10 Misusing AI features (Nika AI, when live)
Nika AI is not live yet. Once it is, you must not use it to:
- Generate content that breaks any rule in this Policy — for example fake performance claims, scam promotions, harassment, hateful content, malware or instructions for illegal activity.
- Try to make it ignore its instructions or safety limits (jailbreaking or prompt injection), extract its system instructions, or get it to reveal other users' data.
- Send it personal data about other people, or confidential data you don't have the right to share. When live, Nika AI may send the data you select to an AI model provider — see our Privacy Policy (nikaquant.com/privacy/).
- Present its output as personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or as a guarantee of anything. AI output can be wrong. Check it yourself.
- Rely on it, without your own judgement, to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on other people.
Any AI model provider's own usage rules also apply to content you send through Nika AI.
2.11 Reverse engineering and copying the Service
- Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app, the Bridge EA, store products or our scoring methods, or try to extract their source code — except to the extent applicable law expressly allows this and that right can't be excluded by contract (for example, limited rights to achieve interoperability under EU and UK software law).
- Copy, frame or mirror the Service, or remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other notice in it.
- Build a product that copies the Service's look, features or scoring by systematically using the Service.
Our Methodology page explains how grades work. Reading it, writing about it and critiquing it is welcome.
2.12 Getting around plans, paywalls, limits and trials
- Bypass, disable or work around plan limits, feature gates, paywalls, usage caps or rate limits — for example by editing local app storage, tampering with requests, or reusing a paid user's share links or exports to unlock paid features.
- Start more than one 7-day Pro trial, whether by using several email addresses, accounts, payment cards or other people's details. One trial per person.
- Open multiple Free accounts to dodge Free-plan limits.
- Abuse the 14-day money-back guarantee — for example by repeatedly subscribing, refunding and resubscribing through different accounts. See our Refund Policy (nikaquant.com/refund/).
- Use referral, affiliate or promo programs in ways their terms don't allow, including self-referral. See our Affiliate terms (nikaquant.com/affiliate-terms/).
2.13 Account sharing and reselling
- Share your account or sign-in codes with anyone else, or let several people use one subscription. A plan is for one person.
- Sell, rent, sublicense or transfer your account or plan access.
- Resell NikaQuant analysis outputs to clients as a paid service, or present them as your own proprietary method, without a written reseller agreement with us. Ask at [email protected].
Sending a share link or PDF of your own results to friends, a prop firm, a coach or a community is fine. That's what they're for.
2.14 Overloading the Service
- Send requests, uploads, syncs or Bridge EA data at a volume or frequency that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, or that goes beyond any rate limit we publish or enforce.
- Upload files designed to be unreasonably large or slow to process. Some import paths already skip files over a size limit (for example, folder sync skips files over 10 MB); trying to get around such limits is not allowed.
- Run any script or tool against our servers more often than it needs to, or run many instances against one account to multiply traffic.
2.15 Infringing intellectual property
- Allowed: uploading Strategy Tester reports, optimization results or account history from an EA you bought, licensed or rented from a third party, so you can grade how it performed for you. Testing someone else's EA is normal, and the report is your test result.
- Not allowed: using the Service to distribute, sell or share other people's EAs, indicators, source code, compiled files (.ex5 / .mq5), set files or paid content without the right to do so; cracking or removing license checks; or posting a vendor's private or paid material in a public card, note or share link.
- Uploading or publishing anything that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, trade secret or other rights, or using another vendor's brand to suggest a connection that doesn't exist.
- Copying, redistributing or sharing products bought from our store beyond what the Store license allows.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, see section 5 (Reporting abuse) and include the details listed there.
2.16 Sanctions and export controls
- Use the Service if you are, or act for, a person or organisation on a sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States, or if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions under those regimes.
- Use the Service, or export or re-export any part of it (including store products and the Bridge EA), in breach of sanctions or export-control laws.
- Use a VPN or false details to hide your location in order to get around these restrictions.
[Note for counsel: confirm which sanctions regimes apply to [Legal entity name] and whether the list of regimes should be narrowed or extended.]
3. What we do about it
3.1 Investigating. We may look into suspected breaches of this Policy. Because most analysis runs in your browser, we usually can't see your local files. We can see what you publish or sync to us (for example share-link metadata, Arena and leaderboard submissions, public-card text, Cloud sync data on Pro and Premium, Bridge EA traffic, billing records and server logs). How we handle that data is set out in our Privacy Policy (nikaquant.com/privacy/).
3.2 Actions we may take. Depending on how serious the breach is, whether it was deliberate, and whether it has happened before, we may do one or more of the following:
- Warn you and ask you to fix it.
- Remove, hide or disable content — for example a strategy name, bio, Arena or leaderboard entry, public card or share link.
- Disqualify an entry or an account from the Arena, leaderboards or challenges, reset rankings, and withhold or reverse any rank-based recognition.
- Limit features, apply stricter rate limits, or block a Bridge EA connection, IP address or device.
- Suspend or terminate your account, end a trial early, or refuse future sign-ups or trials.
- Cancel referral or affiliate rewards earned through abuse.
- Report the matter to, and cooperate with, law enforcement, regulators, payment providers or affected third parties where the law requires it or where we reasonably believe it is needed to prevent fraud or harm. We will only share personal data as our Privacy Policy allows.
3.3 Speed. We will normally tell you what we're doing and why before or when we act. We may act first and tell you afterwards — or not tell you, if the law prevents it or telling you would undermine an investigation — where there is a risk to other users, to us, to our systems or to third parties, or where the breach is serious (fraud, malware, manipulation, illegal content).
3.4 Money. What happens to fees when an account is suspended or terminated is governed by the Terms and our Refund Policy. Nothing in this Policy removes rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
3.5 No duty to monitor. We don't pre-screen content and we aren't obliged to monitor the Service, but we may do so. Not acting on a breach doesn't mean we've accepted it.
3.6 Your data on exit. If we terminate your account, we will where reasonably possible and lawful give you a chance to export your data first. Data held only in your browser stays on your device.
4. Reporting security issues (responsible disclosure)
4.1 If you think you've found a security vulnerability, email [email protected] with the subject Security. Include what you found, where (URL, endpoint, app version or Bridge EA version), steps to reproduce, and what impact you think it has.
4.2 Please:
- Only test against your own account and data. Don't access, change, or keep other people's data. If you hit someone else's data by accident, stop, don't keep it, and tell us.
- Don't run denial-of-service, spam or social-engineering tests, and don't test our email, DNS or payment providers' systems.
- Give us a reasonable time to fix the issue before telling anyone else. [Disclosure window, e.g. 90 days — to be set by counsel.]
- Don't demand payment in exchange for not disclosing. We don't currently run a paid bug-bounty program.
4.3 Safe harbor. [Counsel to review: scope, wording and enforceability of this safe harbor under [Governing law and courts — to be set by counsel], and whether it can bind third-party providers.] If you make a good-faith effort to follow section 4.2, we will treat your research as authorised under this Policy, we won't take legal action against you or ask law enforcement to investigate you for that research, and we won't suspend your account for it. This doesn't cover anything that breaks the law in a way we can't waive, and it can't bind third parties (such as our hosting or payment providers) who may have their own rules.
4.4 We'll acknowledge your report, keep you updated on the fix where we can, and credit you if you'd like us to.
5. Reporting abuse
5.1 To report a breach of this Policy — a faked leaderboard entry, a scam using our name, an impersonator, harassment in a public name or note, infringing content, or anything else — email [email protected] with the subject Abuse report.
5.2 Please include:
- The link, share link, leaderboard entry, profile or account involved, and screenshots if you have them.
- What rule you think is broken and why.
- For intellectual-property complaints: who you are, the work you say is infringed, where the infringing material is, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own or are authorised to act for the owner of the right, and your signature (typed is fine). [Counsel to confirm whether a designated DMCA agent registration and EU Digital Services Act notice-and-action wording are required.]
- Your contact email, so we can follow up.
5.3 We read every report. We may not be able to tell you the outcome where that would disclose another user's personal data. Knowingly false or abusive reports are themselves a breach of this Policy.
5.4 If something involves an immediate threat to someone's safety, contact your local emergency services first.
6. Appeals
6.1 If we've removed your content, disqualified an entry, or limited, suspended or terminated your account and you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] with the subject Appeal within 30 days of our decision. Tell us which decision you're appealing and why, and attach anything that helps — for example the original MT5 report that backs up a leaderboard entry.
6.2 Someone who wasn't involved in the original decision will review the appeal where we reasonably can. We aim to reply within 14 days and will tell you the outcome and the reason. If we got it wrong, we'll reverse the action and restore what we reasonably can.
6.3 Appealing to us doesn't stop you using any other route the law gives you, including out-of-court dispute settlement or the courts. [Counsel to confirm statement-of-reasons and appeal requirements under the EU Digital Services Act and UK Online Safety Act, if applicable.]
7. Changes to this Policy
7.1 We may update this Policy as the Service changes — for example when Nika AI goes live, or when we add new public features. We'll change the "Last updated" date above.
7.2 For changes that materially restrict what you can do, we'll give account holders reasonable notice by email or in the app before they take effect, unless the change is needed urgently for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the Service and cancel your plan as set out in the Terms.
7.3 Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
